| TIME-OF-USE PRICING |
With Time-of-Use (TOU) Pricing here, it is the
time to make practical changes to your routine. TOU prices are based on which
times of day – or days of the week – experience the highest and lowest
electricity demands.
Residential consumers typically consume about 64% of their electricity during
off-peak hours, and about 18% in each of mid-peak and on-peak hours. TOU prices
are set by the Ontario Energy Board twice per year – May 1 and November 1.
These prices are reflective of the Electricity Charge of your bill only. . |
